Introducing our unique triple skinned 30-minute fire protected oil tank- the ultimate solution for your oil storage needs!
How to build your tank:
Specify your requirements and build your tank using the options to the right of this page and proceed with your order. Someone from our dedicated team will respond with a quote!
How to complete bespoke tank form:To ensure we get the correct details, please carefully read the explanation below of information we require and complete the form on the right.
- Channels: We would always recommend channels on the base of the tank to allow air to circulate. You can choose to have channles lengthways, widthways or none (not recommended).
- Fitting Kit: We sell a great range of fitting kits. If you require a fitting kit, please select the one required, or select no fititng kit if not required. If you're unsure which kit is required, all our kits are available on our store page or give us a call.
- Gauge: A gauge is used to display your fuel level. We offer a float gauge, which is a clock type gauge that sits ontop of your tank, or a electronic Watchman Sonic Adavanced, which can be plugged into a wall socket up to 200m to display your fuel level.
- Fire Protection Rating: We offer a 30-minute rated fire protected tank or a 60-minute rated. Typically a 30-minute rated tank is sufficient but your insurance company may want a 60-minute rated tank. It's best you check with them.
- Offloading: If you have a forklift truck or telehandlers available to offload the tank from the wagon, select yes; if not, select no and we'll contact you with delivery options.
- Maximum size restrictions: this is the size you want the tank made to. We will quote on a tank to your size specified. Please note, OFTEC regulations stipulate the tank must have 300mm clearance on all sides for inspection purposes. Therefore, you should minus off 600mm from the length and width. Fire Protected tanks, however, only need 100mm on all sides for the base, but should still be 300mm from any obstructions so the tank can be inspected.
- Any other requirements: this could be more technical requirements if they're required. For example, Spillstop, dropdown fills (for tall tanks), external/extended fill point, external vent, extra gauge ports, suction pipe, top outlet, etc.
Offloading:
Please note, all tanks are sent through an approved pallet network. Tanks are delivered on curtain sided wagon. It is your responsibility to offload the tank from the vehicle, therefore a forklift truck or telehandler is required. If you do not have access to a forklift truck or telehandler, selected "No" when asked "Do you have suitable offloading". If you do not have suitable offloading, we can offer HIAB or tail lift delivery- someone from our team will discuss these options with you.
How we take payment:
In your quotation, we will specify our payment terms. Typically, we would ask for payment before your order reaches the production stage.
