Our very own design and made 2500 Litre (550 Gallon) bunded oil tank comes with a pyramid roof for water run off as standard!  Designed to comply to the oil storage regulations when permanently connected to an appliance (boiler or pump).  Ideal for domestic heating oil and is a direct replacement for many single skin oil tanks.

If this tank is being installed on the ground it needs to be either up on pillars or have channels on the base.

All our steel tanks are made to order. While we attempt to speed this up where possible, most tanks are usually dispatched within 8-10 weeks (800litres to 1600litres, and single skin tanks, are typically dispatched quicker). Tanks over 5,000litres will take longer. Contact our office for a more accurate lead time. 
 
Installation requirements - to ensure longevity of the steel tank, they need to be either up on pillars or have channels on the base.  Tanks should be installed by an OFTEC engineer (or equivalent) in accordance with OFTEC regulations, which can be found here. 
 
If it is installed on pillars, we recommend that strips of bitumen roofing felt are put in between the base of the tank and the pillars which will greatly increase the lifespan of your oil tank.  All tanks should also be dipped annual for water and if any is found to be present, it must be removed straight away.  All tanks are pressure tested for leaks on manufacture and come with a 5-year guarantee if installed and maintained correctly.  Any chips to the paintwork on the installation must be touched up with the tin of touch up paint provided.
